This trinket box is one of a kind and a perfect example of sustainable and local crafting.  So all in all about 16 air miles at the most!

The oyster was harvested in Brancaster, just a few miles up the coast.  It was enjoyed in a local restaurant and the shell was saved from landfill.   After lots of cleaning and tidying the shell was treated with a clear varnish to retain it’s natural beauty before being made into a lovely little trinket box.

They are idea for holding rings and other small pieces of jewellery as well as using as a unique and very special gift box for a small treasure.

Whilst these are not toys, they are perfect for keeping precious treasures like baby’s first teeth.
